4/15 Standing Up to the Madness w/Amy Goodman

In 2004’s The Exception to the Rulers, journalist and radio host Amy Goodman gave hell to the powers behind the world’s social justice, economic and environmentalm problems.

In her knew book Standing Up to The Madness, Goodman and her brother David, himself and investigative journalist, journalist traveled the country to detail the ways in which grassroots activists have taken politics out of the hands of politicians. The book tells the stories of everyday citizens who have challenged the government and prevailed. The Goodman’s speak tonight at the First Congregational Church of Oakland.
