2/16 Femi. Yoshi’s. Oakland. Tonight. Be there.

If you don’t know who Femi is that means you have two problems.  The 1st is that you obviously haven’t read the last issue of the magazine where Femi is a featured artist.  And 2nd, that means you’ve been denying yourself the sweet sounds of of Oakland Soul.  But as much as you deserve to be flogged, just come to the show tonight and we’ll let yo slide.

Since her EP Sweetwater  Soul dropped last November, Femi’s been getting much critical acclaim and praise for Sweetwater’s mellow musical moods.   On stage though the vibe can rock from soul to funk to a little punk rock and electro.  We’ll see what she throws out tonight at the official release party.
